Edgewood PHC is a mission minded ministry. Our goal is to support God's work within our community, state, nation and on a global scale. We stand with our brethren in Israel as to why we fly their flag with the other flags in front of our church. We are excited to have Mr. Rivers Matthews as our church Missions Director. Currently the church supports six missionaries and three missions projects, some links to provide support to each are included with our list:

Pastor's wife Amy is very passionate about this ministry. For the past 14 years, she has collected items to place in shoeboxes and shipped to well deserving children. The church provides a donation box so everyone can be involved in this ministry. Each year the church has a "packing party" to fill the boxes and label them to be delivered to a shipping location. Boxes she has overseen the assembling of have reached Uganda, Botswana, Paraguay, Peru, Senegal, Burundi, Colombia, Belize, South Africa, Dominican Republic, Cameroon, Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso, other undisclosed hard to reach areas.
This past year, the church packed 257 boxes with all the shipping paid. Praise God. This year, our goal is 275 boxes.
Our Women's Ministry is headed by our pastor's wife, Amy. The Women's Ministry provides the ladies of our church and their guests, meetings for devotions, various other events and a once a year retreat with our conference in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Our Men's ministry is headed by Mr. Randy Bundrick. A fairly new ministry for our church but the future is exciting. The Men's Ministry has an annual slot car event that is a great time.
Our church has recently added a small bus to our ministry. This bus will be used so that the church can take small groups from the church on trips to allow fellowship and fun as a Christian group. Trips will include: the Billy Graham Library, Southern Gospel Hall of Fame, The Ark Encounter/Creation Museum, NASCAR Hall of Fame and others. Announcements of trips will be in our church bulletins.
Our church has made arrangements with a local Hispanic ministry to meet in our buildings. The group meets in our sanctuary from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Sunday and on Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
